BLUEBERRY SAUCE

 

INGREDIENTS:

 

1 3/4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries

1/4 cup granulates sugar

3 T confectioners' sugar

1 T fresh lemon juice

 

 

PREPARATION:

 

Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan.  (if the berries are frozen, add 1 T water.)  Bring the berries to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently.  Reduce the heat to low and cook for 2 minutes, crushing some of the berries with a fork.  Remove from the heat and let cool slightly. Serve warm.

 

Yield: About 1 1/2 cups.
